Bushcraft in Sweden

Dreaming of a real bushcraft holiday in Sweden, where you and your child can escape screens, the hustle and bustle, and the daily routine? During this outdoor adventure, you’ll travel by canoe through the Swedish wilderness, sleep in the wild, and learn bushcraft skills such as making fires, tying knots and reading maps. No previous experience is required: our guides will support you throughout the adventure.

Learn by Doing

Bushcraft isn’t just about surviving in nature. It’s about learning to observe, work together, and make the most of what you have with you. During the trip, experienced guides will teach you skills such as making a fire, gathering wood, tying knots, setting up a tarp, and reading a map. These are skills you don’t learn from a book, but by doing them yourself.

Paddling, fishing, gathering wood, making fires, helping around camp, and above all, becoming part of the group. The sense of togetherness was fantastic, and everyone helped each other. For me, this was the perfect way to show him that there’s a whole different world beyond that screen.

Everything Arranged

You can rent much of your equipment from Nordic Adventures, including a tent, camping gear, cooking equipment, and a fishing rod. You also won’t have to worry much about food: the food package is specially prepared for the trip and more than sufficient. This means you don’t need to invest in a complete outdoor setup yourself and can focus on what really matters: enjoying the Swedish wilderness together.
